Ant Man and The Wasp Movie Review (Family Movie Time)

This year’s summer flick is a brand new Marvel film! Check out our Ant Man and The Wasp movie review; a follow-up to the first in the series released in 2015.

Ant Man and The Wasp Movie Review

Kansas City favorite, Paul Rudd, stars as Ant Man, while Evangeline Lilly (“Lost”) stars as The Wasp.

The film picks up in the not too distant future after the first “Ant Man” film left off. Read more about this family movie review below:

Ant Man & The Wasp Story

RATING: PG-13

RUNNING TIME: 1 hour 58 minutes

After being caught as “Ant Man”, Scott Lang (Paul Rudd) attempts to live a semi-normal life on house arrest. He carries out his remaining sentence at home so he can spend time with his daughter in the outside world, but trouble finds its way to his doorstep.

The Ant Man is dragged back into the moral grey area – the one that got him into trouble in the first place.

The film is full of exciting adventures, fun lines, and twists and turns that keep audiences engaged.

Ant Man & The Wasp is the ideal summertime family movie.

I was able to catch an advanced screening of the movie in 3D with several of our winners from iFamilyKC and highly recommend viewing it in 3D at the theater. The effects are outstanding and really add to the excitement of the film.

Pro tip: B&B Theatres offers 3D at multiple locations around town. Check out the movie showtimes today!
