Although not an actual brewery, Brewer’s Kitchen has a focus on freshness. And they boast an array of local craft beer and artisan burgers. Bring the family to this casual restaurant for delicious food and great beer from right here in Kansas City.

This eclectic brewery, located in the River Market, is totally kid-friendly! Along with an awesome selection of beer, there is a very small menu of bar snacks. However, Strange Days allows patrons to bring in their own food or even get it delivered to their brewery.

Bring the kiddos and pack some snacks for a fun time at Casual Animal! Aside from a few bar snacks, this brewery doesn’t have a full-service kitchen. Guests are welcome to bring their own food or order delivery. Note: their website does not recommend bringing children past 8 pm on Friday and Saturday.

All ages are welcome in Cinder Block’s taproom, so you can bring the kiddos along for a casual day out. From their website, we found that this brewery encourages patrons to order food from one of their neighbors. Order food to go and enjoy!

On the other side of State Line, Martin City Brewing Company has its sister store, Pizza & Taproom. They feature Martin City’s locally crafted brews and the Mission Farms location has a food menu featuring stone-fired pizza along with bar grub.

Brew Lab is one-of-a-kind. It’s a brewery, taproom, kitchen, and home brewing supply store and even offers a Professional Brewing Experience! Many Google reviews rave about the family-friendly atmosphere and, of course, fantastic beer.

This Johnson County brewery is a great place to bring the kiddos for an afternoon! Along with beer, rotating food trucks and a small snack menu, Transport Brewery even has card games and board games — perfect for families.

Family-oriented and quality-minded, Pathlight was recently named one of the best new breweries in the KC area. Their trademark brews are wild and sour ales. Snacks are available and other food can be brought in or delivered.

They provide a family-friendly atmosphere, where you can appreciate craft beer made with local ingredients. Located the corner of 87th & Pflumm they are surrounded by some incredible local restaurants, so feel free to bring in food from of their neighbors.

Lenexa’s first brewery, whose tagline is “beer-centered, community-focused”, wants to be that place where people, even strangers, can sit together and get to know each other better at their large community tables. Dogs and kids are welcome!

This brewery is family-friendly and dog friendly. Enjoy food from their Burn Theory Fire Kitchen, serving BBQ & fire-kissed pub fare, and enjoy a beer while the kiddos enjoy a soda in their cool, casual atmosphere.

Grandview’s microbrewery, located near the intersection of US 71/I-49 and MO-150. They emphasize beers with a lower ABV. Under the same roof, The Chive Cafe offers breakfast, lunch, and dinner. Besides being focused on using locally sourced products, the cafe offers beer and food-pairing dinners.

Grain Valley Breweries:

They bring the taste and charm of the Scottish pub to America, serving English, Irish, Scottish and German-style ales. Food options include pretzel bites, nachos, pizzas, baked potatoes, and mac & cheese, both baked in an iron skillet and can be topped with a variety of yummy options.

Raytown’s home of craft brewing is also the closest brewery to Arrowhead and Royals stadiums. They focus on farmhouse ales, sours, and wild-fermented beers. Besides their beers, the taproom features local wine, cider, spirits, and local soda for the kiddos. Not only kid but also dog-friendly!
